What is the difference between red and maroon here?
They photograph very differently. Red is brighter and warmer, holding its intensity in daylight and under flash, so it carries visually across a large venue. Maroon reads deeper and quieter, with more richness in close photographs but less presence from a distance.
What colour is the blouse?
The blouse colour is recorded as red, in velvet, described as a designer cut. The lehenga is red and peach and the dupatta is peach, so the red sits across the skirt and the upper body while peach frames it from the dupatta above.
Why does velvet keep red from flaring?
Velvet has a dense pile that absorbs light rather than scattering it across a smooth surface. A shiny fabric in the same red would throw back flash and lose definition, while velvet holds the colour saturated and keeps the shape of the garment readable.
How many pieces are in this set?
Three: one lehenga, one dupatta and one blouse, with the number of dupattas recorded as single. The blouse is velvet in a designer cut, and the dupatta is peach net with an embellished border rather than decoration across the whole panel.
