What colour is the blouse with this lehenga?
The blouse is black silk, worn against a grey jacquard skirt. The dupatta is also black, in lycra. So the set carries two colours as supplied, with grey below the waist and black above it, rather than being tonal throughout like a single-shade lehenga.
Is a lycra dupatta easy to drape?
It is easier than most. Lycra stretches and recovers, so it settles over the shoulder and holds a pleat without pulling tight or slipping the way a stiff net panel can. It also creases far less in transit, which matters if you are travelling to a function.
Does the set need tailoring before I can wear it?
Yes. It is semi-stitched, so the lehenga and blouse arrive partly constructed and a tailor completes them to your measurements. Allow time for that before your function date. The dupatta is ready to use as supplied and needs no stitching work at all.
How should the black silk blouse be cleaned?
Care for this design is dry cleaning only. Black silk in particular should not be home washed, as detergent can leave a dull cast on dark silk that does not lift afterwards. Take the whole set to a cleaner together so the pieces stay matched in tone.
Can I return this?
