Is this a lehenga or a saree?
It is a saree. A lehenga style saree is a single draped garment cut so the lower fall reads like a lehenga skirt once worn. There is no separate skirt to step into and no dupatta. What you receive is the draped saree and a stitched blouse.
Do I need to pleat it myself?
No. This is a ready-to-wear design, so the drape and pleating are already set. It goes on without the tucking and folding a traditional saree needs, which saves considerable time before a function and keeps the shape holding through the evening rather than loosening.
What is heavy mono net?
Mono net is woven from a single fine filament, which gives a smooth, uniform mesh that is more transparent and less textured than standard net. A heavy quality has more body, so a blouse cut from it holds its shape rather than collapsing at the seams.
What size is the blouse?
It is stitched up to 38 inches with a margin allowing alteration up to 42 inches. That margin is extra fabric left in the seams, so a tailor can let it out within that range. It cannot be taken beyond 42 inches, so check your measurement first.
