What are the four embroidery techniques used here?
Resham is flat silk-thread work that reads as soft colour. Zari is metallic thread giving fine lines of shine. Cord embroidery is a raised couched line you can feel. Sequins add separate points of reflection. Handwork means placement is done by hand rather than machine-run.
Is a dupatta included?
The package details list one lehenga, one dupatta and one blouse, so a dupatta is included. However the dupatta fabric and dupatta colour fields are both marked as not applicable, so we cannot tell you what it is made from. Please ask us to confirm before ordering.
Why does silk suit this much embroidery?
Silk has body and weight of its own, so it carries dense mixed work flat without puckering where four different techniques pull at the cloth in different directions. A lighter net or tissue base would distort under the same combination of raised cord, sequins and thread.
What shade is sea green?
Sea green is a cool green with a blue undertone, lighter and fresher than bottle or emerald green and calmer than mint. On a dual tone weave it shifts as the fabric turns, so the colour reads with more movement than a single-tone sea green would.
