How is this different from your maroon version?
The colour. Both designs use the same construction: a sequins net lehenga and blouse, sequin and cord embroidery, and a plain net dupatta, with a stitched blouse. This one is green throughout, which suits a guest wanting to avoid the red and pink most others wear.
Does sequin fabric catch on things?
Sequins can catch on rough surfaces, open jewellery clasps and hook fastenings, and an open net base is vulnerable to snagging. Handle it carefully when dressing, keep bangles and rings clear of the skirt, and check the hem before walking on rough ground.
Is the whole set the same green?
Yes. The lehenga colour, blouse colour and dupatta colour are all recorded as green. Because the lehenga and blouse are sequins net while the dupatta is plain net, the same shade still reads at slightly different depths, which keeps a single-colour set from looking flat.
Is a fully sequinned lehenga heavy?
Less than you might expect. Sequins net keeps its base as an open weave, so the fabric carries very little mass of its own, and the sequins are small and evenly distributed. It is considerably lighter than a silk or velvet skirt with dense hand-applied work.
