What is included and what still needs stitching?
Three pieces: a 42 inch pink net lehenga, a 1 metre net blouse piece and a pink net dupatta. The set is semi-stitched, so the lehenga and blouse need a tailor to finish them to your measurements. The dupatta is ready to drape as supplied.
How light is a full net lehenga?
Considerably lighter than silk or velvet. Net is an open weave carrying almost no mass of its own, so most of the weight comes from the sequin work rather than the fabric. That makes a full net set practical for several hours of dancing at a sangeet.
Is this suitable for a bride?
It is positioned as party wear rather than bridal, and the price sits at the entry point of this range. It suits a guest at a sangeet, a mehndi or an evening party. For the ceremony itself, a heavier silk or velvet set would sit better.
Can the blouse be made to fit me?
The blouse piece is 1 metre of net and customisation is offered up to a 42 inch bust and waist. Within that range a tailor can cut the neckline, sleeve and back you want. Beyond 42 inches the supplied piece will not accommodate the measurement.
Why is the GST rate different on this item?
The specification for this design records 5% GST included in the displayed price, where most lehengas in this range record 12%. The rate shown here is the one applied to your order, so no additional tax is added at checkout on this particular set.
