Is red a good choice for a festival saree?
Red carries more festive weight in Indian dress than almost any other shade, which is why it appears at pujas, karva chauth and family celebrations. A printed georgette in red gives you that association without the cost or the weight of a heavily worked silk piece.
Why does red photograph inconsistently?
Deep reds sit at the edge of what most camera sensors and screens can render accurately, so they shift with the light source. Warm indoor lighting pushes red towards orange, while cooler daylight pulls it towards crimson. The cloth itself does not change; the rendering does.
Will this saree crease if I sit for a long time?
Georgette creases lightly rather than sharply, and it recovers much of that on its own once you stand and the fabric hangs. It is a far more forgiving choice for a long function than a crisp fabric such as organza or tissue, which hold a fold once made.
What is the total fabric I receive?
The saree is 5.5 metre long and 44 inches wide, and the blouse piece is a separate 0.80 metre. That is one saree and one blouse piece in the package. A petticoat, fall and stole are not included and need to be arranged separately.
