How does this differ from the beige version of the same fabric?
Both are zari organza satin, but the work and the blouse differ. The beige piece carries dual sequins embroidery with multi stone handwork and includes a koti. This peach one is highlighted with sequins, pearl and crystal shine stone and comes with a raw slube silk blouse piece.
What is crystal shine stone work?
Crystal shine stone describes faceted stones fixed to the fabric. Because the surfaces are cut at angles, each stone reflects light in several directions rather than one, so it reads sharper and brighter than a flat sequin of the same size sitting beside it.
Does the blouse piece need stitching?
Yes. You receive 0.80 mtr of raw slube silk as an unstitched piece, which a tailor cuts and stitches to your measurements. Plan a few days for this before the function, and settle sleeve length with the tailor early since 0.80 mtr is a standard cut.
Will this saree hold its shape through an evening?
It should. Organza is crisp rather than fluid, so pleats stand and the pallu keeps its arc for longer than a soft fabric would. The satin content adds weight that steadies the fall, and the embellished sections give the border a little extra hang.
