What is digital printing on fabric?
The design is applied directly from a digital file onto the cloth, in the way an inkjet printer works on paper. It allows photographic detail, smooth colour gradients and unlimited colours in one design, none of which traditional block or screen printing can achieve.
Does the embroidery sit on top of the print?
Yes. The print goes onto the fabric first, and the zari and cord embroidery are worked over it afterwards. That layering is deliberate: the print supplies the colour and the design, while the embroidery adds physical texture and metallic reflection the print alone cannot give.
What blouse colour suits a printed saree?
Pull a single shade out of the print and match the blouse to it. A plain blouse keeps the outfit balanced, since the printed drape is already carrying the pattern. The blue raw silk piece supplied gives you that plain, coordinated starting point.
Will the print fade with wear?
Digital prints are set into the fabric during production rather than sitting loose on the surface, so they are durable in normal use. Like any printed textile the colour is held in the fibre, which means the pattern cannot peel or flake the way a bonded surface film can.
