Delete Your Vpnam Account and Data
This page explains how to ask us to delete your Vpnam account and the data linked to it. Vpnam (the Vpnam app on Google Play and the store at vpnam.com) is owned and operated by Yash Retail And Services Private Limited, CIN U72900HR2020PTC086634.
How to request deletion
- Send us a request from the e-mail address or mobile number registered on your Vpnam account.
- Write to [email protected] with the subject Delete my account, or WhatsApp / call +91 97299 91755.
- Tell us the registered e-mail address or mobile number so we can identify the account.
- We verify that the request comes from the account holder, then confirm by e-mail once the deletion is done.
You can also ask from inside the app: open Account and use the contact details on the Contact page.
What we delete
On an approved request we delete your account and the personal data held against it:
- your name, e-mail address, mobile number and saved delivery addresses;
- your saved cart, wishlist and browsing preferences;
- your account login and any store credit balance that has not been used;
- reviews you have posted, on request.
Deletion is completed within 30 days of the request being verified.
What we must keep, and for how long
Some records cannot be deleted immediately because Indian law requires us to keep them:
- Invoices, order records and tax records are retained for the period required under Indian tax and company law. These are kept for legal compliance only and are not used to contact you.
- Payment references held by our payment partners follow their own retention rules. We never store full card numbers.
- Records needed for an open order, an unresolved dispute, fraud prevention or a legal claim are kept until that matter is closed, and then deleted on the same basis.
Delete only some of your data
If you would rather keep your account and remove only part of your data, such as a saved address or a review, write to [email protected] and tell us what you want removed.
